10BELOW.IO is a free daily trivia and general-knowledge quiz.

Each Daily Drop contains ten questions covering subjects including science, geography, history, language, literature, politics, film, music and popular culture.

Familiar questions. Less obvious answers.

A Rare Answers question is one prompt with many acceptable answers. The obvious answers are worth the fewest metres. The answers hardly anyone thinks of are worth the most, and take your submarine deepest.

The rarity system encourages participants to search their memory, make connections between subjects and retrieve knowledge beyond the first answer that comes to mind.

Dives also mix in two types with a single right answer. Estimate the Number asks for one numerical guess, and the closer it is, the deeper you go. True or False is one call, right or wrong.

Four optional lifelines help when you are stuck: Clue, +10 sec, Swap and Appeal. How It Works has the full rules and what each answer is worth.

A new Daily Drop

A new Daily Drop is published each day on the London calendar.

Participants can track their streak, replay earlier dives from Prior Questions, the archive, and compare depths on the daily leaderboard.

Play with friends

Private leagues rank you against friends by day, week and month. Challenge mode lets two league members race through the same ten questions, head to head.

Each Daily Drop is set in a different place with its own pixel-art scene, and every dive earns Treasure to spend on hats and eyewear for your submarine.
